    The name of Mido suji (a main street in Osaka) originates in the two temples of Minami-Mido and Kita-Mido. The official name of Minami-Mido is Shinshu Otani-ha Namba Betsuin. This temple was established in 1595. This temple is registered as a tangible cultural property in Osaka. It has been protected to keep the high cultural value for the future. It is located in about 5-min-walk from Subway Honmachi station. It is also within a walking distance from Hotel WBF Honmachi.

      Senba Center Building

      Senba Center Building is known as 'the widest building in Japan'. All buildings from No.1 to No.10 are built along with Chuo Oh street, which penetrates the center of Osaka in an east-west direction . There are many fabric wholesale stores and restaurants in the buildings. You can see the two faces of Osaka as a merchant town and a fabric town. Some of wholesale stores merchandise to visitors (a notice is stickled in the shop if they don't merchandise to visitors).

        It is the famous main street of Osaka stretched from the center of Osaka to south and north. There are `Kita`(Umeda area) and `Minami`(Namba, Shinsaibashi area) in Osaka. Midosuji street is connected to Kita and Minami. In winter, the illumination event on street trees are held in Midosuji. Many tourists visit here.
